Here's the Deal

Head to our page on Facebook and take part in our ‘Holla 4 a Dolla!’ contest. Tell us what you would do if you won free cash by choosing a fun message and sharing it with your friends via the Facebook app. Then, all you need to do is register and you’ll be automatically entered into the sweepstakes for a chance to win! No purchase necessary. Please note that this sweepstakes is created for academic members only.


If lucky, you can win one of three prizes:

  • 1st prize —Winner receives a $1,500 Visa gift card!
  • 2nd prize —Winner receives a $750 Visa gift card!
  • 3rd prize — Winner receives a $250 Visa gift card!

Contests begins March 27th 2012 and closes May 23rd 2012 at 11:59 PM (EST)


Winner Selection

The winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 24th 2012 from among all eligible entries and they will be contacted by email with details on how to claim their prize. All winners must sign up for the OnTheHub eStore (it's free) - we'll verify your academic status this way. Although not necessary, it is recommended that you follow us on Facebook to receive the latest updates and announcements on the contest and more.


Terms and Conditions

  • You must be an academic member at a recognized academic institution (and be able to provide proof)
  • Sweepstakes open only to natural persons who are legal residents and physically located in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the beginning of the Promotion Period (as defined below). Limit to five (5) entries per person
  • Entrants must comply with Facebook’s Terms of Service at all times in order to be eligible to become a potential winner of this Contest
  • If declared a potential winner, you must sign up for the OnTheHub eStore (it's free) - we'll verify your academic status this way
  • If declared a potential winner, you must read and accept OnTheHub’s “Holla 4 a Dolla!” Official sweepstakes entry rules
  • If declared a potential winner, we will contact you by email, within approximately two (2) business days after selecting your entry to verify your student status. In order for a potential winner to claim their prize, the potential winner must respond within five (5) business days of notification to claim your prize (if you do not get back to us in time, we’ll pick someone else). You must also sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity Release (where legal) and a Liability Release form (the “Required Documents”) and return it to us within ten (10) days of notification in order to get your prize.
  • No purchase necessary, but you must complete the sweepstakes registration form at the end of the ‘Holla 4 a Dolla!’ game
  • Prizes cannot be exchanged for actual cash and cannot be transferred to anyone.
  • Please allow for 4 to 8 weeks for prize delivery.

We reserve the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means.
